A Lovely and Maximized Home Renovation for a Special Family

One of the privileges that I enjoy being a photographer is whenever I capture how people live. One of my favorites is taking photos of family homes. I pretty much like any thing about design, whether in architecture, interiors, or just about anything with forms and colors. So, to see a design that functions well is a double portion of delight for me.

The home that I’m going to feature today is very special because I saw how it looked like years ago and how the owners dreamt of having their home renovated. Today, every space and corner of their 570 square meters sweet abode are maximized to perfectly suit their lifestyle as a family. Here’s the beautifully renovated space by Flores Builders.

Welcome to this special family's home. A lovely lawn welcomes each guest as they enter the doorway. :)

I love what they did in this hallway and even the lighting that they used to emphasize each space on this shelf.

The other side of the hallway. The aquarium gave the room a relaxing feel. Anything with water really refreshes any home.

Living

Look at the details of this living room – from the ceiling to the walls.

Theatre

A way to organize a basketball star’s collection of shoes and awards at the family theatre room.

Entering dining

Entering the dining area…

Dining

Another well-planned room with cupboards surrounding the dining area.

collection

An organized way to showcase such variety of mug collection. A lot of conversation pieces here during meals. ;)

boy

The little boy’s room.

bath

Toilet and bath in soothing colors.

girl

Not your typical little girl’s room. Instead of pink, they used yellow and a touch of purple. Look at that high and detailed ceiling!

masters

The bathroom at the master’s bedroom. Again, I like the tiles and lights that they used here.

Veranda

Welcome to their veranda.

Outdoor

kitchen

One of my favorite parts of the house is the kitchen!

sink

Details, details, details! :) The storage for the plates is strategically placed above the sink.

board

More cupboards for storage. I like that writing board too where the family can jot down and see important reminders and their daily Bible verse. It’s a nice place to stick thoughtful notes and kids’ artwork as well.

cabinets

Surprise! There’s the pantry!

cab

More smart storages for condiments and spices.

outside

A short walk outside leads you to this pathway.

Playroom

The Playroom! :) What every kid and “big kids” want. I like how they designed this playroom near the laundry area. While the kids play, the household help can check them from the window connecting the laundry area and the playroom. :) The chalkboard was a fun addition to this room too!

What a nice home, right?

Dream big and invest in the right things. :)
