Hola beautiful people! How’s everybody been doing this busy season?

I hope you’re all doing well! :) Anyway, first I would like to thank everyone who appreciated my photography series about the inspiring Pingris Family. Some even sent me a private message if I can post more updates on them. I’ll definitely ask Danica about it so just keep visiting.

Next, I would like to share how happy I am to be a part of Travelife TV’s video shoot last Saturday. It’s going to be my first time to be featured on T.V. as a photographer and about one of the places I LOVE, Bonifacio Global City (BGC).  I’m not sure when it will be shown but it’s something thrilling for me, which I would also love to share to you guys soon.

We also celebrated two things last Sunday. It was my mom’s 2nd year anniversary of being reunited with her Maker (stories about her here) and it was also the wedding day of one of my cousins and childhood best friend/buddy, Gerard. It was a bittersweet day but a day of celebration of all the LOVE I got from both my mom and my maternal side of the family as well.

Today, I want to leave something worthwhile to all of us for this weekend. I came across one of LiTV (Life Inspiration) Channel’s series “Link”, which featured Baselworld (the prestigious watch and jewellery show every spring in Switzerland) that left me inspired.

This particular interview wasn’t just about watches (my favorite piece of practical, innovative and most appealing accessory for me). It also talked about what inspires Watch Industry’s “Legends” one of which was Jean-Claude Biver (totally not related with Justin Bieber :p) that absolutely impressed me.

Jean-Claude Biver is the president of a luxury Swiss watch brand Hublot, a veteran of the Swiss Watch Industry and is also known for his own exclusive cheese (which I’m very much interested to try but it’s so exclusive).

(About his cheese: “Every year, Biver produces approximately five tons of cheese at his farm in the Swiss Alps. Biver produces cheese for only a few weeks every summer during which the alpine meadows flower, rendering ‘a flowery taste to the milk and subsequently, to the cheese.’ Because of the cheese’s exclusivity, Biver refuses payment, offering cheese only to his friends and family, and to particular restaurants of his choosing. Biver stated that by refusing payment, he can remain in absolute control of the cheese’s distribution: ‘I will be the master of my cheese until the last piece.’” – Wikipedia)

When host Jason Godfrey asked him about what inspires him, here was his answer:

“I’m inspired by only one thing – LOVE. And all the inspiration comes from God, comes from love. Because GOD IS LOVE. That art is love, passion is love. That’s why my watches are the expression of love.”

That’s what I want to leave everyone this weekend. Something that reminded me about passion, art and LOVE. That every thing from love, watches, cheese and everything in between, there’s one thing that inspires all – GOD. And He is LOVE. May you be filled with this special LOVE today. Love that produces intricately and delicately made pieces and inspires others to, well, LOVE.

“My beloved friends, let us continue to love each other since love comes from God. Everyone who loves is born of God and experiences a relationship with God. The person who refuses to love doesn’t know the first thing about God, because God is love—so you can’t know him if you don’t love. This is how God showed his love for us: God sent his only Son into the world so we might live through him. This is the kind of love we are talking about—not that we once upon a time loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to clear away our sins and the damage they’ve done to our relationship with God.” – 1 John 4:7-10 The Message (MSG)

More about LOVE next week as I share how you can spread some love in every mist of a fragrance collection. ♡
