The Head or Heart Tour: Christina Perri Live in Manila

From

The arrival of Christina Perri with her adorable penguin and entourage yesterday evening.

I’ve always admired singers who don’t just perform their songs but also writes them from the heart. Christina Perri is one of those pure-blooded artists whose masterpieces pierced the hearts of many through raw and organic emotions written in words and sang by heart.

This 28-year-old talented lady (who wears 70 tattoos around her fit body), wrote and sang songs from break-up to wedding anthems such as “Jar of Hearts” and “A Thousand Years”. The latter, which was released as an original motion picture soundtrack for the movie The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn was viewed two hundred fifty million plus (that’s 258,976,852 views to be exact as of this time) on YouTube. I’m sure you’re one of those people who heard the song in one wedding event or another.

Media team

Met this fun people from the media with Mr. Ferdie Arquero of Legato Music Magazine and Ms. Grace Foronda. Please excuse the ABS-CBN mic on my hand. I was channeling the wonderful hosts of Channel 2.

Tonight, we’re going to have the opportunity to listen to Christina’s songs LIVE and ask ourselves this question, “Uhmm… the head or the heart (the tail or the head, hehe)?” But seriously, it’s going to be one of those evenings where we’d be able to not just sing along but intently listen to songs that will provoke emotions and maybe, just maybe encourage healing to some brokenhearted folks out there.

Though our artist was tired and security was tough, Legato Music Magazine was able to exclusively and quickly managed to get a message from Christina Perri for her fans in Manila:

Capture her performance tonight March 5, 2015 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum presented by Midas Promotions. Let me know what you think about her and her music! :) Enjoy.
